Liking the quick progress on the eye especially. I'm getting much better at just nailing things in with the first pass over the underpainting, now that I'm bold and deliberate enough!

I find I'm less likely to use layers with a decent underpainting/colour sketch, which keeps Photoshop from chugging too hard with all the smudgin' I do. Here's that sketch!

I think I'm getting more generic and people with a sienna underpainting, with a violet wash for the shadows, and green(from like a jade color to an olive color) wash in the bright areas with some ultramarine in the darker shadows.

I might just keep the underpainting real loose and rough, have a few parts cleaned up and defined. Gonna log off before the power goes out again.

Detailing and layering.

It's interesting to start with a vibrant underpainting that is half purple, half orange, and know that the end result will be much more neutral and brown and gray toned.

Sneak peek of a new Flower of End -related painting I'm currently working on.

I've had the sketch/underpainting of it sit in my corner for very long and only recently started to actually render it in oil 🙈 better late than never though.
