血生臭い実話が題材のため「ミュンヘン」はスピルバーグの作品群のなかでも地味な印象だが、復讐の怖さや虚しさを緊張感と共に描いた傑作。

映画のラストに見える、今は失われてしまったWTCビルの映像は本作のテーマの象徴とも言えるだろう。

As a Sikh who experienced the aftermath of hate crime, today is first, remembering the lives lost meaninglessly on the WTC attack.

But also a reminder on how the lives of many, in and out of my community, would change for simply "looking like them" (their words not mine)...
