Much like Bonifacio's Bolo, Talibong has had a lot of changes over the years.
The earlier designs were the result of sticking too much to one or two references and nothing else. The coat /was/ mentioned in writing, but the patterns were from a different group entirely.

Summer time I'll be starting on one of these designs as a premade, though I'm unsure which to pick as I love them all.

@consumeroftoons Why's it always the colors? Everytime cartoons have early designs, it's only the colors that're different. Like, there's only ever one guy who actually has a different design.

but I have a future AU thing I work on and off on making stuff for of Rin/Shiemi and these were designs I made for kids of theirs (I have variations on said AU stuff haha) probably not my final designs for them though
