Not really. West Asiatic and North African peoples were Afro-Asiatic in culture, and Greeks and Romans' entire cultures were Indo-European in origin like that of most other Europeans emanating from Pontic Steppe, but yes there was/is some genetic overlap with Middle Easterners.
