Just stumbled upon another form of Chinese calligraphy art while doing some research into an unusual temple in Taiwan. This style seems to be known as Flower-Bird Characters 花鳥字 (and sometimes Phoenix-Dragon Characters 鳳龍字). Pretty wild stuff! 🌺🐦

I made this character after seeing green eel goby..
It's probably the most unusual fish I've ever seen.
But, she is cutie pie lol

Kirby and Reg from Made in Abyss.
You know, they are pretty similar in some things...

Both didnt know who they are and from where they from.
Both are cute!
Both are badass
Both can turn you into dust
And in thier respective series... they give an unusual importance to food...

Modeus for the Business Suit Series!

I made a full size lineart first because I forgot that I wanted to make a gif, so I had to separate and adjust the parts in a somewhat unusual way. Hope you like the results

And another GRAPPA paper today: https://t.co/1SPsoAhgLv

Led by PhD student Swapnil Shankar the authors show that jetted outflows from a proto-magnetar can explain the unusually high kinetic energies seen in broad-lined type Ic supernovae!

The frontal radiographs revealed an unusual feature: a series of white circles. Based on their observation of internal and external features, the researchers realized that these circles must reflect the presence of internal gates that transect the core of each hollow-cast figure.

Yesterday was hilarious! There I was, in my recording studio, editing Sound Effects for my Listening and Visual Game video, in the middle of a real thunderstorm overhead!🤣

Ahhhhhh, unusual moments in life...
