Finally watched Endgame again.

Such an incredible construction! It’s a film that earns its gratuitous smashy, CGI battle - a huge cast of characters and you care for every single one. Peak cinema.

So deserving of its position as the highest grossing film in history. I adore it!

this is by far the earliest use of cgi i've seen personally, though a quick google search shows me that there are some cgi sequences in anime as far back as 1983 or so (golgo 13)
