so apparently this is my oldest surviving animation model, from somewhere around early 2019. in OutLanders there used to be an entire species of these critters called subsats who lived inside rocks in planetary rings. maybe i'll redesign them to be featured in the show someday

Remakeing the protogen model,
I put up some surface analysis tools so you can see why I did that.
Any weird spots are basically mesh errors I couldn't fix/that were bend in an unnatural way.
The new model is going to be lighter, slimmer, better looking and easier to manufacture.
