Sad news. Designer and illustrator Ron Cobb has passed away. He did the design work on numerous projects including the Nostromo and the Delorean time machine.

Ron Cobb, the cartoonist and production designer who created several of the cantina creatures in Star Wars, has sadly passed away at the age of 83. Cobb was known for his creation of the Nostromo ship in Alien and the DeLorean in Back to the Future. May the Force be with you.
