I have a bad habit of doing things on the fly so I decided to try shading in grayscale first so I'm totally sure of my direction going forward
Now I just need to find time to color it >_<'

I also work with shapes! I usually keep it grayscale too just so I can focus on the design elements + concept as I find introducing colours comes instinctively for the final. I've tried using just lines for roughs but I'm never satisfied with the output 😅

A little peek into the process - I always try and keep big paintings like this in grayscale as long as possible because values speak so much louder than color!
