i always start my sketch with a reference for poses, sketch ontop of it and then add details. after that i would add base colors, so that i wont get confused. i mostly paint over the sketches with a new layer and just try out different filters :DDDD

Focused on redrawing the main sea contours from the Globe so that I can draw within these lines for the details. Start with your constraints/boundaries always.
