6月8日は【大鳴門橋開通記念日】
1985年6月8日、兵庫県南あわじ市福良丙（淡路島門崎）と徳島県鳴門市鳴門町土佐泊浦（大毛島孫崎）間を架ける「大鳴門橋」が開通した。大鳴門橋の橋長は1,629m、主塔の高さは144.3mで、本州と四国を結ぶ神戸淡路鳴門自動車道が通っている。
