Drawtober picks up again with some from earlier this year! I watched a documentary on how butterfly migration takes multiple generations and came upon the idea of a sci-fi generation ship being similar.
Idk why all my worldbuilding ends up being post-apocalyptic 🤷‍♂️

Got this idea while listening to a particular song. 3 little toys, a windup robot, a jack in the box and a pullback car gain sentience in a post apocalyptic world and encounter some kind of giant mechanical contraption that sings about how it's going to burn all 3 of them
