So how does it play?
On one hand, it's clearly a better game than any baseball titles on the NES (and I played them all during #IGCvNES).
On the other hand, it is quite mediocre. Griffey apparently personally disliked it, which was why a new developer was tapped for the sequel.
Welp, I made an absolute farce out of every NES baseball game I tried.
My first at-bat for Ken Griffey MLB wasn't as successful.
Apparently it was a gag Nintendo pulled often. Rare even got the gag twice. In the mid 80s, Rare discovered the NES could do split-screen co-op, something Nintendo themselves had been unaware of. When the Stampers showed it off, they checked the workstation to see if it was legit

#40 - Mega Man 6 (NES)
The Blue Bomber's final outing on the system he debuted on.
I felt the music & Robot Masters were some of the more forgettable, albeit uniquely designed in the latter's case, in the series thus far, though the weapons were some of the best imo.
@gameartarchive @OldGameMags @NintendoMetro @sega_city For @gameartarchive I work hard to extract the art at the best quality, and bringing all sorts of weird, rare artwork to the limelight.
This month we’ve got some great games - including:
Jet Force Gemini (N64)
Dungeon Land (Game Boy)
Mach Rider (NES)
Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
YIE AR KUNG-FU on Commodore 64 (1985)
Fast and faithful conversion of the Konami original arcade.
I grew up with MSX version which is same as NES/Famicom so this feels very different (faster/crazier) but cool anyway

I'm now opening chiptune commissions!
$100 per minute for originals, $80 per minute for covers.
I can do a wide variety of soundchips, including NES, Master System, ZX Spectrum, C64, Atari ST, TurboGraphx, and N64. The only thing I won't do is FM.
Please DM for details!
Pixel art of the Three House Leaders (and Yuri!) for @fecompendium's #FECChallenge117!
The canvas size is 48 x 64 as per NES portraits, but upscaled 4x to make viewing a bit easier

Oye DUst... mira. Que opinas si Mega hubiera tenido el traje como el de la HORRIBLE PORTADA del primer Mega Man de la NES?? yo diría que se vería así:
The cartridge label is done, as well as an updated, more final version of the title screen!
For the label, I tried to keep it in a similar style to the previous NES Bubble Bobble artwork designs. That way it'll blend in much nicer.
Today's final for @VisceraBot of a NES puppy interrupted- and seconds away from yanking out the cables!!
@sushigirlali When my 12 year old self played Castlevania 3 for the 8-bit NES, I was in love with him ever since. He looked a lot different back then- but still, if I’m playing any Castlevania game- or any game that includes Castlevania characters- it better have Alucard as a playable.

My classic Power Blade that I repainted in 2020!
A short thread on the different cover illustrations created for Prince of Persia.
The one used for the Western computer versions was made by Robert Florczak. Paul Kidby probably used his illustration as a reference to draw the cover art of the Game Boy and NES versions.
