The Thomas wrench was used to forcibly correct clubfoot. It would cause tissue damage and bone fractures. Hugh Owen Thomas (1834-1891), a Welsh surgeon, invented it. Trained as a surgeon, he came from a family of bonesetters. Also known for the Thomas splint and Thomas test.

11. I'm going to say Owen. He went from a poor, happy boy into a mindless servant, got his world shattered, lived in a limbo of decisions and responsibility, learned to trust, broke trust other put in him, lost trust, got a child and grew a spine after that. He's doing his best.
