Relating to my last post on abstraction, if I don't have an immediate image of a painting, I'll often write down ideas. For this list, 2 of these would end up being paintings (#2/3). I did not feel great with how this first painting came out, so I immediately redid the concept.

Another design created later got rid of the armor gimmick and made it just a robot that just transforms from a fossil. I think a lot of these designs where in reaction to Bandai's Rocklords so they where prepared to act if it was popular concept.
