It handles issues of disability, class, has (a) canon gay relationship(s?), poc representation, and also handles themes of sexual assault - so far, all done really well. It's also politically intriguing and the art is out of this world, it's so good.

Some days, I think about how Ely was vs how she is now in terms of her appearance. And it's important since a lot of it was me, a poc, being unsure to making characters who might even look like or have experiences like me. It's neat seeing her growth as a character.
