When the bones of Cetiosaurus were first discovered, they were thought to have belonged to an extremely large aquatic animal. Upon closer investigation, it turned out that Cetiosaurus was not a marine reptile and actually a terrestrial sauropod. Art by @MarkWitton
Tinypods need good care.

the latest episode of the Common Decent podcast on sauropods got me thinking about a Patagosaurus....in a Patagonia jacket... 🦕
It is basically a comic version of Primal, relying solely on the artistic imagery and even lacking sound captions like "ROAAR" or "THUMP". As for the plot? I like it, although I understand if some of you may found it odd (raptors swarming a sauropod, chameleon Ceratosaurus, etc)
@BrandThorsten Nothing fancy, just a string of nodes and patience. Think the only thing I'm using is the physics modifier I've been using for Sauropod tails and some rotation locks for the jaw so the rig itself is incredibly basic.
@YAMATO_English Yeah both sad & lucky
BTW
Those dinosaurs are Argentinosaurus not Brachiosaurus
A larger sauropod dinosaur
I thought they were Brachiosaurus too but the differences is the body structure
The Brachiosaurus have their long necks straight up while Argentinosaurus have theirs forward
Thought I'd do a colored sketch since it's been a while since I've had my new drawing tablet and hadn't done much #Godzilla/kaijū art with it.
Based on The Mad Sauropod from #PRIMAL. Also, #HappyThanksgiving. 🦃 @TohoKingdom @ETNRob @DangervilleTeam
Qijianglong guokr (Qijiang dragon), from Early Cretaceous (Aptian Age 115-113 MYA) China, had one of the longest necks of any sauropod. This adult and juvenile are resting for the night. Art by Rebecca Dart. 🤓🐉
