Ever wonder just how much bigger the huge titanosaurs were than many of the sauropods we typically see in museums? These pics by @flygirlNHM might help!
Another illustration is out! 🦕Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum had one of the biggest necks of all sauropods. All the time while painting I was thinking about how almost ridiculous these were
. . . , tackling prosauropods like Sarahsaurus and armored prey like Scuttellosaurus.
I'm sad that we could have gotten elephants (Palaeoloxodon) that are bigger then some Jurassic Period Sauropods and cretaceous Hadrosaurs/Ceratopsians
Palaeoloxodon antiquus (left) could have weighed up to 15 tons and went extinct 30,000 years ago
Paradox Entei and Paradox Raikou!! Based on sauropods (Entei) and ceratopsians and ankylosaurs (Raikou). #paradoxpokemon
In the shadow of Jotuns, the convergent Aesirs are often forgotten. These Titanosuchians are towering, if less imposing than the Sauropods they look so similar to. The Marshcarrier Aesir is one of the biggest, so large that small forests can grow on their back.
SAUROPODA. (from the video https://t.co/qnGGfcQ2zH) In this case the not so huge ones. they deserve some protagonism sometime #sauropods #dinosaurs #paleoart #sizeisrelative #lessemsaurus #shunosaurus #barapasaurus #yamanasaurus #paludititan
Bruhhh Whales when they first entered the HE caused a massive change in the HE, and the Great wind whale which is the humpback is a sophont whom have songs that control the marine sauropods to their will, Yee we got the Shart whale!, We got doghawk eagle, they get in via leakages https://t.co/MqRSZZQt1w
Fun fact: My HE marine spinosaurs and Marine sauropods are based off those misinformed people🤭 https://t.co/LOYay3bVTD
@TheDinoBuff Reminds me @wizards_magic did a whole plane of still outdated looking dinosaurs except the main design requirement was rainbow feathers on EVERYTHING. Sauropods? Feathers. Ankylosaurs? Feathers. Effing Dimetrodon not even really a dinosaur? PLUME IT UP plus it’s also a dinosaur.
@Bonpland I always put light feathers on my sauropods
To be fair, I put feathers on every single dinosaur, not just the sauropods.
Sea serpents clade are probably the largest animal my story, it was once suppose to be 100 or 70 meters long, but I shrink it down to 40 meters…but it still bloody huge when compare to some sauropods.

@JoschuaKnuppe Lavocatisaurus is pretty similar to Nigersaurus, (which is more complete) but Lavocatisaurus is a bit less extreme. It looks a little off in the published skull reconstruction but the maxillary teeth would be angled futher ventrally, like in Nigersaurus and other sauropods.
Finished Camarasaurus! Taking crit on accuracy here bc im p ignorant on sauropods. @skeletaldrawing skeletal as usual was indispensable. Also Ive found use in looking at the models from prehistoric kingdom at different angles, though I know relying on game models is flawed
@PoshDino66_6 @AlphaAreus @Saberspark I don't see any Camarasaurus influence in there but sauropods do have some freakish skills.
@JurassicOtaku I personally think in some remote jungle some small bird-like dinosaurs may still be alive, something small enough to survive the mass extinction, and bird-like enough that early European explorers and natives wouldn't realize it's a dinosaur. No living sauropods sadly
#drawdinocember Today's entry is a sauropodomorph from the Riojasauridae. Ancestral to the long necked Sauropods we know, Riojasaurus incertus is from South America. This is the prompt for the 16th
