The day has come...and I might change these designs eventually but for now #Animorphs fanart time 🙏😭🦅
#AnimalArtistsUnite Would you believe that none of those drawings above were Animorphs related? I'm rectifying that as we speak.
Did the monoprint of the scene from book 3... two days after I read it first. With anguish fresh in my veins, minutes before the print shop closed.
after some further investigation and additions, we have come to a conclusion it looks more like an animorphs book cover
so..started doing preliminary work on dragonborn avatar and accidentally made an animorphs cover :DDDD
I plan on making an anim for the actual transformation okay I just needed to start somewhere and share this nightmare fuel with u
someone posted some old animorphs book covers on facebook and one of them is turning into a karen
I can’t even imagine the horror of an Andalite growing a mouth, here’s Ax from #Animorphs mid-transformation into his human morph, a beautiful genetic mix of all the human animorphs.
(My mental image of Ax’s human form is 100% inspired by @c_rowles’s interpretation!)
This is a Hork-Bajir from #animorphs. I've been trying to use watercolors again. Since this was my first try, I went heavy handed on the creature itself by accident, but I'll improve as I work. This is three different layers to give it depth, which you can't tell from the scan.
Ok since no one has even theorized what those two blurry figures are yet, I’m spoiling the Easter egg. That’s the Ellimist and Crayak.
Did I really need an obscure Animorphs reference for one panel in a webcomic seemingly popular with 9-12 year olds? Yes
This was a project that fell through august 2019. Someone wanted a weird mural in their backyard in Providence. So I animorphed the Rhode Island state bird and flower into this entity that walks from season to season. Might make it into something one day, I still love it.
Beta arceus looks like an old man tried to animorph into raikou but got stuck halfway and then got half an infinity gauntlet cemented into the side of its body
Go grandpa
For @joysweeper , a very fun little recreation of the iconic animorphs illustration!!!
