If Dixie's by herself, I'd use the render on the left from DKC2. Shows of her hair powers and I actually find the pose more representative of her personality than the existing spirit from Tropical Freeze.

If Kiddy's a part of Dixie's moveset, I'd use the render on the right.

Actually kinda torn on DKC 1 vs 2. 2 Improves on 1 in almost every way, but there's a certain simplicity to 1 that I really love. Just depends on my mood.

One thing you'll notice in those games is how smaller the palette is for them, so they look super detailed without looking antia-aliased
