My most recent :) Marella is a miner merrow who digs for crystals underwater. Her clan are located in the watery, western Otherworld and are quite elusive to rigorously protect the gems they excavate.

Avatar The Way of Water was so incredibly good. It was worldbuilding at it’s finest. There was commentary the whole movie on the impact of colonialism, parental/child relationships, the psychology of being a mixed race couple/child, & importance of living with nature 1/2
