My quick and dirty process boils down to:

1. A sheet of silhouettes.
2. A value (greyscale) painting of the best few.
3. A layer with the blend mode set to "color" over the value.

I liked the greyscale so much more than the final product... it FEELS painted over to me :(

I'm working on a project with a friend for an upcoming expo, it will be greyscale but i decided to colour Hidan for fun/practise!

A referenced study from last night! Originally a greyscale, and then added some colours on overlay. Not a fan of that method, but can't deny I adore the result this time :>
