I am always trying to create a narrative in my paintings, which is why I am using less and less posing models as reference. An artwork without a narrative is sort of orfan to me, it needs to tell a story, it needs a path.
Life is never still, even when it's not going anywhere.
Just finished adding the final details to @TobisaruJC's commission of his character, Russel Krowe, nearing death's door. The posing for this one was a nice excuse to study some classical style poses and push myself on bleak/damp lighting.

best example ive got on hand is my attempts to recreate the shoulder cannons of metallix from the reboot, and also some custom ones i did for that 2nd video.
