At the end of the story the heroes and villains have to ditch Sivana’s island base, as it’s set to explode, leaving the Vanytes to die. Except, Sivana outright says they’ll survive the explosion… so does that mean there’s just a huge army of living Plastic Man clones in the sea?

In fact, Sivana created a whole clone army, whom he called The Vanytes*. Sivana even says they’re essentially Plastic Man’s offspring! He also put some of Plas in Shado’s son Robert and Oliver’s son Conner’s DNA to heal them of deadly ailments… albeit in a mind controlled state.
