A little personal piece of a new character that one of my followers designed for me! Designed this beauty and I love her! This piece is a little rough around the edges, and I'll probably clean it up more later, but I'm still happy with it regardless!

Are you ready for GIDEON THE NINTH? It's out next Tuesday, and is one of the best books I've read this year. A great protagonist, lesbian necromancers, and skeletons galore. Plus, the first printing has beautiful black edges, so the book is like a sexy word abyss.

fresh from the GAN loom - a new scandinavian tapestry

never stops to amaze me how latentness plus randomness produce more organic designs than when you try to inject yourself into the process - leave the generative pipeline alone and deal with the edges - pre/post processing

I went back and polished this piece using some of the feed back I got online. I fixed the colors and lighting as well as added more textures and defined edges.

5. Hard or Smooth Edges

- For a more stylized part, I use the "auto smooth" tool
- in edit mode, select all the faces and smooth them
- you can also select the edges in edit mode, that you would like to have a sharp edge
- A smooth part looks better than visible faces (imo)

4. Overfilling UV edges

Idk if there's a better method buuuut:

Paint on the UV map slightly over the edges, so there's no noticeable seams. If I dont do this, you'd be able to notice a distinct white outline anywhere i unwrapped the UVs!

it's like painting outside the lines!

@/SnowFl00f is currently making me a cyborg character right now so I will show you that when it's done. I found a piece done by @/Jfdoffical that has hard edges for you to judge. And I mentioned Opalite because I know you're friends with her.
