Dark areas aren’t black, but very deep violet and blue which isn’t really showing up.

not quite on not quite off, this would be astraea at 50%. heat is only Concentrated in certain areas and it a bit more harder to form weapons.

Incredible warmth in the Arctic and across pretty much all of Canada through first half of January 2021.

Large areas more than +10°C warmer than normal. Also widespread warmth across North Africa and Tibetan Plateau.

Brutal cold in central and eastern Asia. Chilly W and N EU.
