I love the symbolism in the "Catradora Promise" scenes.

Ok, so I can use masks on individual layers and bypass the impossibility of using masks on multiple layers by putting the layer(s) with linked effects on them in a folder and applying the mask to the folder. This could work, although it would be pretty confusing nevertheless.
