I really love that the lady in the "la belle dame sans merci" painting is actually a faery, it gives me so much more incentive to redraw this with Pasha (1.laumės share a few characteristics with faeries, 2. Pasha can be characterized as quite merciless)

Alan Lee - Like Brian Froud, I was introduced to Alan Lee's work very young (both in the book Faeries, which is stunning). I can't even begin to describe how much I love his work 😫 His pencil work, his colouring, the way he draws faces - all of it is perfect.
