Mary Magdalene, Jan van Scorel, c. 1530 She can be identified by her jar of ointment, which she used to anoint Jesus’s feet. Van Scorel painted her as a luxuriously dressed courtesan (Rijksmuseum)

Van Scorel was born 1 Aug 1495. He d. 6 Dec 1562.
