Here's my illustration for Clearwater Pathway for Zendikar Rising. I've been trying to get back to what I love in painting which is light and color and I felt like this piece was a big step in the right direction. Still trying to improve my brushwork as well. Crops are 100%

Quick demo I completed to show my students a way of recording mechanical forms using conté and acrylic (finger painted, no brushwork). They’ve done some fantastic (long) studies using pencil and pen & ink, so this more immediate and intuitive way of working was a great contrast.
