Here is a progress collage of the way I colour. I like to do solid colours and blend by erasing lightly around the edges. I used to think that was “wrong” and therefore made my art invalid but to hell with it lmao.

As much as I love talking animal stories, I hate the trope of POC characters turning into animals and staying as animals through most of the movie. It's literally erasing POC faces and watering them down into something...more fun & cutesy I guess.
