the idea of the hourglass just came immediately and formed the basis of a lot of my decisions from there, as i really wanted something *physical* in the effect. so i modelled/uv'd/sculpted/baked/textured a prop.

I remember feeling so jealous of unsigs when they were out of my reach at about 1000 Ada floor (or something). I was saving/trading up to buy 1.

I will never forgive society for letting MirrorMask (2005 film) bomb in the box office. We got a goth clown adventure movie, in a surrealist environment, with some of the coolest character and prop designs, done by the Jim Henson company, written by Neil Gaiman, and it flopped.
