while I need to redo/refine/retweak action sequences... I'm really happy with the direction battle is going in now. the change with the sprites allows me to streamline A LOT and just make things way easier. I'm so happy right now. plus I'm still adding my own touches to stuff.

it was tricky to find the right balance of this style. i wanted her to look androgynous, but not too weird looking to be taken seriously. sometimes i would try showing the shaved stubble, eventually i leaned into a more smooth streamlined Dragon Ball type cut

I haven't drawn Alyona in forever, so I decided to give her a design update! I fixed her clunky boots from before and made them more streamlined while still maintaining a certain style about them.

Also I'm testing a new hybrid style of shading and lighting! What do you think?
