The suit is "blue" the same way Superman has blue hair or how Venom wears a blue suit. It's how they color make the lighting pop. The suit isn't and never has been blue, adaptations that make it blue are wrong.

one of the best tools i have access to while writing comics is photo mode in video games.

It helps me visualize (or describe) angles and even lighting

below is an example of a panel by silver ferris from an upcoming comic i wrote and the gaming reference.

did a remilia doodle to try out some lighting things, and yeah no im not really sticking with this :c
just not much colour control with a multiply layer shadow, and I still heavily prefer the painterly style over this
