@MegglesArt I love doing character illustration so much. I'm always a big fan of coloring and shading/painting, even if I'm bad at finishing pieces.

2013->2022 (almost 10 years of art improvement)
Art style wise, i don't think it changed, still the moe art style.
I noticed i have improved on shading, lineart and body anatomy a little ✨
Looking to improve more in the future ^^

@skiesrainforest I guess there is no harm in sharing. I use a brush that is very similar to a graphite brush. It gives my shading a strange texture I like. I do 2-3 layers of shading and highlights. I like adding the refelected light the most. :) these are added on solid color layers.

For 2023, I'm going to aim for at least one piece of art each month (lord have mercy)

Please advise on shading (shading gave me an aneurysm, broke my left shoulder and stole my lunch money)

Lfrith Rough Shading, second pass. In this phase, I added darker shadows and lighter areas over top of the first shading phase. All of this is done in 2D in Procreate. No 3D model was used in this process.
