Someone requested that I try drawing the Predator.
Here’s what I cranked out.
Getting much more comfortable with @Procreate!
Caterpie is based on swallowtail caterpillars, mostly the spicebush swallowtail. The big black spots aren't eyes at all, but are only meant to resemble snake's eyes and the red organ, the osmeterium, is meant to resemble a snake's tongue, all to scare off predators. (1/2)
@shellsist Not far off.
I read a paper that punching with blunt force can do significantly more damage to an average predator skull with their fragile Jaws, extended eyes, thin cheek bones, etc.
Human skulls have thick chins, reinforced cheeks & sockets.
It’s getting really hard to drag these around everywhere I go but how else am I suppossed to spot predators before they get too close? ~w~
