The domed shape at the belly is a normal feature on historical knight armor. It allowed for better deflection of attacks towards the torso. The plate actually extends away from the actually stomach of the wearer to allow for padding from blows.

wanted to do something with a more action-y pose than usual this time. some of my ideas for it fell apart, but i am at least pretty satisfied with the rendering on the hands and torso and the quality of the pose
