The series includes this character, a Thai folklore/myth forest ghost known as “Lady of Tani” or Nang Tani:

Loch Iorsa on the Isle of Arran has it's very own monster myth.
The loch's name means 'loch of the serpents'. This serpent is perhaps a wurm: a dragon with no legs nor wings from folk tales

Slavic mermaids usually lack any tail and can live both in the salt water and lakes. They also much more vile by their nature, even if their stories are often tragic. Loved by Morteshka and Evdokia's story especially.

Would love to see your interpretation of a "Tikbalang". From Filipino folklore. Human body but with the head and feet of a horse. Or a "Manananggal". A bat-lady that can separate its torso from its legs and can re-attach them again.

Rusalki laugh as they tie together willow or slender birch branches so they can swing by the river. They love to perform somersaults and sing and dance in the moonlight. Some people say that merely hearing Rusalki’s laughter causes death.#FolkloreThursday

Ayakashi in Japanese literally means, "strange phenomenon of the sea," and is a term used for yokai who appear in the liminal spaces between the surface of the sea/ocean and the air.
