Day 8 of Today's prompt from was I rolled element, and then rolled storm. Considering...there aren't many storms underwater, I went with hydrothermal vents! Had to include that for fun!

A paint up I did, might make prints of it but these two are Bellony and Artikus the water dragons. One lives above the sea in the clouds and storms of the open ocean and the other lives below the waves among the pod of dolphins and surface life.

0-6km bulk shear 35-40 kts should be enough to generate some beefier storms. However, as I mentioned earlier this morning, low-to-mid level speed shear could be a lot better.

Result is a nice, narrow area of moderate CAPE with a fairly sharp northern gradient along the boundary. Would be an excellent place for storms to develop and latch onto around/just south of the Hagerstown-Frederick corridor.
