Today I woke to discover that a huge influence on my art died today #MiltonGlaser. A modern master that left an indelible mark on just about everything he did.
So for a little change of pace, here is a piece I did (over ten plus years ago) influenced by the man himself. RIP.
During Procktor’s national service he learnt Russian. Polish Pilots (1960), Study (1958) & Antiques Room (1958) show his initial style which was influenced by his teachers. Later his work would become delicate & more sensual
@JinWeLoveYouu To add on to this, Chinese 3rd eyes are also influenced by Buddhist beliefs (which form a large basis for fantasy media), which is in turn rooted in Indian culture. Huadian (4th pic) is mostly cosmetic, worn by women, but is also not associated with bindi (but is still cultural)
@kurb0i Congrats on the milestone!
I'm Matt, Batangas-based artist mostly influenced by fighting game aesthetics and a lot of video games I like, in general! Currently just trying to scrape by in the middle of quarantine.
I feel I associate my art to Feather by nujabes, the most!
We’re returning to France today with Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot’s ‘Distant View of Corbeil from behind the trees: Morning’. Corot was a pivotal figure in landscape painting and his work influenced the Impressionists and Glasgow Boys. #MuseumFromHome #ArtCanHelp #QuaranTeamUofG

It's almost as if Future Funk can be a great gateway to widen influences & tastes if you don't take its laziest artists at face value. Funny, that🤔
Iconic American graphic designer Milton Glaser, born on this day in The Bronx, NY in 1929. His designs characterized and influenced much poster art in the late 60s and include the I ❤ NY logo, the psychedelic Bob Dylan poster, and logos for DC Comics and Brooklyn Brewery. #BOTD
I can name no artist that influenced me more. Her art would BREATHE FOR ME. It led my very THOUGHTS even when I wasn't reading her books. I thought about those pictures every waking moment. I copied them on every surface.
Jenna will forever be nothing short of an inspiration to not only myself but so many creative hopefuls. I’ll miss the weekly megadoses of positivity and kindness that’ve influenced who I am as a person so strongly. All my love to #JennaMarbles

I think my absolute favorite art growing up was from the Spiderwick chronicles. Tony DiTerlizzi‘s ability to make fantasy creatures feel real and part of our world really influenced how I view the world and how I draw.
