Today is the 40th anniversary of Lyman debuting in Garfield, a character whose only memorable trait is that he vanished from the comic after 1983 and has had sporadic cameos occasionally eg The Garfield Show. Even as a Garfield fan, I can't recall any great strips Lyman was in.

This ninja chick has a really cool design of pastels and black, maybe not unique but executed so well she became memorable. She can be pretty hot tempered at times yet has a soft side. Great melee/support abilities, well rounded.

Like a lot of you, we'd love a game, but do you know what else would be cool? Ys as a series, has plenty of memorable characters that could be used, a rich history to draw from and the combat wouldn't need to be changed too much either.
