Okay, this one is kind of partially orange. But hear me out: it's an attempt to add other possible pigments/structural color to what is known from fossils. Also patterns that seem plausible since we only have few patches of reddish feathers on much of the body.

My top 3 dream fossil discoveries? Trace fossils I'd love to find:
3. Azdarchid (big pterosaur) take-off tracks.
2. Ring of small-mammal skeletons lining a nest.
1. Dinosaur mating traces, which I imagined & drew for my book 'Dinosaurs Without Bones' (2014).

I had this cute little OC I called Penny, BC.

Her parents were fossil hunters and she had crazy adventures where her imagination would run wild while learning about Earth's fossil history. Unlike Blathers, she likes bugs!
