One thing I noticed (that others have as well) is that the gods in the show are an amalgamation of many. For example, Acat seems to have some references to Ītzpāpālōtl, "Obsidian butterfly."

Acat's "feathers" turn into obsidian daggers, same as Ītzpāpālōtl's.

no exaggeration but kieta hatsukoi is the best bl manga i've ever read. the art is beautiful, the story is cute, fluffy and funny. the way the mc deals with the homophobia is also realistic. i just love this so much. gonna watch the live action soon

On the other hand Peter Chung is now on instagram and I feel like this balances everything in the realism vs exaggeration debate.

A Victorian-era assassin's secret cellar and sewing parlour! They belong to a seamstress who moonlights as a dagger-and-poison contract killer. This is what happens when I want to do something assassin-related but also draw pretty dresses

fewer stripes, and where they are firms up the division between different spaces. They're already very well constructed so it's not that we had to do anything dramatic, mostly just emphasizing and exaggerating existing features

Like Seto has genuinely changed my life for the better I mean this completely seriously and with no exaggerations he is very important to me just not gender . He’s not chaotic enough

Here's the Scythe weapon concepts - finals and early/rough ideas. It was really fun to exaggerate the shapes in this one.
