Yeah these are hard! For me, the narrow pronotum of the first one fits better with Rhagonycha elongata (nice one) than C. paludosa. North of Glasgow is a feasible area for it too. I Agree with that the second one is Cantharis flavilabris :)

Just finished rewatching episodes 14-19 and man once again I really enjoyed these last few episodes a lot especially Agony of a Witch and Young Blood, Old Souls, I forgot how emotional and strong they were, overall rewatching Season 1 was amazing and I loved It all!
