Most of us are accustomed to seeing the excellence of the Line King, Al Hirschfeld, in black and white. But when he worked in color...wow.

Ein Hirsch-Wolf Hybrit den ich gezeichnet habe. Ich wurde von dem Photo-Etid von dem Pferd mit der Hundeschnauze inspiriert.

Ringo! The original drawing hung in Hirschfeld's home for decades. Take home a print of Mr. Starr today: https://t.co/mCaltmPPnn

I love Gravity Falls to bits & Alex Hirsch's Grunkle Stan is a massive reason why. Insanely funny delivery & timing with agreat ability to wave between the essence of " funny money-grubbing old man " to " Man willing to fight tooth & nail for his family ".

Hirsch is one of my favorite artists. Severely underrated. I never see his name come up for some reason.

Such fresh stylized representation and picture making. Everything has a point of view.

I was rewatching the box set commentaries, when Alex Hirsch mentioned that Stan's outfit in Boss Mabel is a VERY SPECIFIC reference to Andy Kaufman in "My Breakfast with Blassie."

You learn something new everyday!

And our final character, Dr. John Prince! A little illegal experimentation (probably) never killed nobody. Base design by Micah Hirschi and then some classmates and I all collaborated on the final drawing!
