Experimenting with Video Enhance AI. "Trava" is the ideal anime for the upscaling process, with its unambiguous, high-contrast art design. It's showing significantly better results than all the other anime titles I've tried, film or digital. (And this one is apparently film!)

I think I found a shader that does the scaling quite nicely. You have to really zoom in on the output to even notice the blurriness of a non integer scale.

Except this beyond universal scaling, she caused an erasure of mutants throughtout dimensions affecting BILLIONS:

So much Digimon art is trapped in Low Quality Jail.

Here's some examples of what AI upscaling could do for those images.

Thanks to Greyscaling and letting me test this, I have finished a commission that would have taken me 4-5 days took a couple of hours to finish. Now with this queue done I can make a few things for myself and then do my price changes and open up again pretty quickly.

I’m sorry but I gotta share our monk/cleric Garjori from the Sunday game — she’s so cOOL
The silver scaling was tedious though.

A bit of filler, but I got inspired by the work did on upscaling the Classic Sonic sprites, and decided to give the sprite I made for the X2 treatment as well for fun.

Remember, always check your values by gray scaling. (Still a work in Progress 🥴🫠)

Updates overdue:

Plumbing: appointments 3 consecutive days (called in absent to work to be present) reveals no "belly" dent, but lots of scaling. Excavation due for next Thursday to finish descaling.

M: I'll be posting wips. E.g., this noir-inspired 4-panel wip:

Got to take part in my first primate project! Led by , we examined the scaling patterns of cerebellar petrosal lobules in Euarchontoglires (rodents, lagomorphs, treeshrews, colugos, & primates).

Check it out in ! https://t.co/MCy852Zi8O

One could say "Oh, they just have to remove the modified artwork", but that was the point. Redrawing the backgrounds like so is far and away a much greater effort than upscaling and cropping (as a previous HD mod did) or pillarboxing (which the current devs suggest on discord)2/x

I commissioned some Art recently and its arrived!

I asked if they could capture the greatest Regiment of Foot of all time in one of its most audacious feats! Scaling the walls of Badajoz!

And this is it!!!

Absolutely outrageously Splendid! ❤️🤍💙

Here's an example of how took the prompt "surfing space Jesus traverses the multiverse" and generated 4 first drafts. I then picked the upper left one and generated several new 4 grids before finally upscaling one image 😂

Because of popular demand I give you the newest version of the Cuban island size chart.
I don't claim these to be 100% correct, for some species it was VERY difficult to find references for and scaling might be questionable at times.
