The background is inspired by the design/look of late 20th Century Shopping Malls. The neon, the tile, the color palette. AND…the very first episode of the show in 1992 took place in a mall. 😉

I have different versions depending how many chibis are desired for the tile! I think the standard will be 2 with there being an option of 3 if desired! But usually the template I follow is 2 chibis and 2 props >:3

Quest Dokkan Story mode routes where both Pilaf and Launch have the highest chance to spawn.

Pilaf - 3% chance per tile
Launch - 2% chance per tile

Within these routes naturally there are reserved tiles where they can't spawn (Start, Goal, Warps and Treasure tiles for example).

Here’s Tile.sEt, Jeweled, ENE, and Source. Some don’t exactly have colors, but Tile.sEt is made of rocks and terrain, Jeweled is rotted and coated in salt and sand, ENE is friendly and his legs are never visible, and source is made from several sonic designs and is friendly.

I'm going to try and implement background loading + scrolling to the Simpsons port today. No program bank switching for now, but will need to dynamically switch tile bank chunks for the level to display properly. One thing at a time.

Three beautiful pieces that I’ve had for a few days. I think the window is at Kelmscott Manor , the Cotswold retreat of William Morris.. The book is designed by Glasgow School and is Art Nouveau the Morris piece is a Lodden Tile in indigo designed and produced at Merton Abbey
