Class demo - HD'ing the Mech from FFVI. I showed students how to find forms using side profile sketches, which are easier to draw, then "skewing" that side view in PS and extruding it into 3D, thus preserving the proportions. It's a fast process; useful in early phases of design.

Another useful parameter is the Line of Klein, which is drawn along the lateral margin of the femoral neck and should intersect part of the epiphysis

In this case, the line barely touches the epiphysis on the left, further suggesting SCFE
