Put eyelids or idk what it's called and add highlights on the inner corner of the eyes, when sketching eyes try making them wider so it could pop up, and adding highlights to the eyes can definitely add some uhh, yeah, also it's good to do shading and add some eyelashes

For textures that are on the sides of the head/body, I like to draw them wider, and then scrunch them for the front view (as opposed to stretching them for the side view). 1st: (zova) her jaw is more round and her eyes are more narrow
2nd: (bas) his jaw is sharper and his eyes are wider.
