Good question. US Gold created UK Gold to sell UK games in the US (rather than their usual model of US games sold in Britain). Dropzone was released under this label. Oddly it seems to be the only UK Gold release. So I assume the idea didn't work out.

I painted this gruey hellscape for my pals in and the idea was to capture some kind of awful pain world of anguish (aka Britain). I based the feel on some imagery in works- where meets the a little.
